NEW FOR 2010!

HIGH PERFORMANCE
               IN TODAY'S ECONOMY

Introduced in 2009, this presentation was our most popular topic. As the year progressed the content was continually updated with the most recent news to keep the information presented as relevant as possible.

We are facing the most uncertain economic future in over thirty years and business owners, managers and supervisors are begging for information to help them succeed in this economy. This presentation helps attendees focus on what they can control and deal with impacts they cannot control. This seminar shows how business teams can overcome the negative pressures economic news puts on every business to keep performance levels at their highest possible levels.

10% unemployment figures make the headlines while the 90% still working isn't news. This and many other positive perspectives must be utilized to keep workplace performance at a high level. The team approach to cutbacks and new economic plans for businesses and organizations will benefit every attendee of this session.

This presentation is an excellent preface for our newest workshop entitled, Leading Economic Recovery. (See below)

LEADING ECONOMIC RECOVERY!

In 2010 the topic of economic recovery will dominate the conference and meeting landscape.

How organizations (associations, chambers of commerce etc.) can Lead Economic Recovery is designed to attract more registrations for statewide and national conferences with information that will increase the value of any organization wanting to take this leadership role. From helping attendees face capitalization and employee issues to establishing a positive attitude toward a recovering economy are just a few of the messages this presentation will bring to organization executives and volunteer leaders across the country. Workshop agenda items include:

  • Creating a "Recovery" Campaign (Image)
  • Building a "Recovery" Leadership Roundtable (Image & Education)
  • Help members overcome human resource obstacles (Education)
  • Help members prioritize human and financial steps to recovery (Education)
  • Help members increase capacity without increasing costs (Education)

When an industry association or chamber of commerce takes the lead on economic recovery, members will follow.  If leaders change the discussion topic from recession to recovery only then can others follow. This workshop will leave your attendees with information to activate a new attitude within their organizations.

STOP MANAGING, START FACILITATING!

Are we spending too much time on problems? Dysfunctional employees? The status quo?
When most of our time as managers is spent fixing problems or dealing with employee issues it's very difficult to go forward. This conference session will help you address these and other roadblocks and overcome them with facilitation skills that will improve employee team productivity!

  • We manage problems, we facilitate solutions
  • We manage disagreement, we facilitate agreement
  • We manage adversity, we facilitate diversity
  • We manage decisions, we facilitate consensus
  • We manage the status quo, we facilitate change

Learn skills to be a "facilitative leader" in your business to increase the capacity of every team member, especially yours! You will learn the three key skills that will offer more opportunities and achieve more goals.

NET
WORKING IS ONE LETTER
AWAY FROM
NOT
WORKING!

Work is the root word of networking and while many look at networking as socializing, this presentation goes to work on the business of networking!

This program was introduced in 2009 and focused on personal networking and marketing skills. For 2010 we have included skills to make social networking on Facebook, Twitter. Linked-in et. al. more than just a social event. Our 2010 presentation of NETworking is One Letter Away from NOTworking will show how social on-line networking can be a huge benefit for associations, chambers of commerce and all of their members.

The GOAL of this presentation remains not to help you get to know people, it's to get people to KNOW YOU! It is much easier to go out and shake a lot of hands to meet people but it takes much more skill to get people to remember you and want to do business with you. While some time is spent on remembering other people's names, more focus is on getting people to remember YOUR NAME!

How can we get people to call us back? How can I be sure to get the appointment? Who should I network with and where should I network most effectively?

All three of our newest presentations can be presented in seminar and workshop formats or be delivered as a keynote address.

MAXIMIZING VOLUNTEER EFFORT!
The great rewards of volunteerism include satisfaction of helping others, receiving recognition for their service and watching the seeds of their work grow. This workshop focuses on all aspects of volunteerism. For you as a volunteer and for those you manage that volunteer. It's for those of you that are paid to lead volunteers and for all volunteers that want true results from their efforts as a volunteer.

Volunteerism can and should benefit the cause and the volunteer. This new workshop for 2010 will focus on creating strategic volunteer plans to make the most of your volunteer time, talent and treasure. Every individual cause profits from the work of the "non-profit" supporting them. The key element is the volunteer strategy. This workshop is designed to help everybody win.

CONNECTING THE BIG THREE GENERATIONS!
The ultimate GOAL of this dynamic and interactive presentation is Trust and Understanding.

Giving and getting trust between Baby Boomers, Xer's and Yer's is a process of understanding each generation. This presentation goes beyond identifying when each generation was born and what was culturally popular during each period. We discuss the personal and cultural issues that truly affect performance from tattoos and piercings to menapause and physical limitations that are usually left as the "elephant in the room."

Plan on identifying steps to take that will help all attendees motivate and activate the different generations to perform well together in the workplace. Be prepared to focus on what the different generations need and what incentives work best with different age groups.
